Scheduling a trip to Fernando de Noronha can mean the realization of a dream of most Brazilians. In the Archipelago, one has the feeling of being in a part of Brazil that has worked, it is 17 square kilometers to 545 km off the coast of Pernambuco, where only 3,500 inhabitants live and tourism is developed in a sustainable way, creating the opportunity for balanced encounter between man and nature in one of the most important ecological sanctuaries in the world.
Coming to Noronha requires at least 5 days to enjoy the countless natural attractions and experience a little of the history of our colonization. There are countless options for activities and tours, which cater to all audiences and offer visitors the chance to see all the natural beauty of the islands.
The Archipelago of Fernando de Noronha is formed by twenty-one islands, in an extension of 26 km², with the main one - the biggest of all also called "Fernando de Noronha" - as the only inhabited island. The others are contained in the National Marine Park area and are uninhabited, and can only be visited with an official license from IBAMA.
By plane, you have two options. There are two daily flights from Recife and two from Natal. To arrive by sea, you can take an unforgettable cruise aboard ships that visit Noronha from October to February. The Fernando de Noronha archipelago is located four degrees below the equator, located at coordinates 3o 54'S latitude and 32o 25'W longitude. It is 545 km from Recife, capital of the State of Pernambuco and 360 km from Natal, capital of the State of Rio Grande do Norte and 710 km from the city of Fortaleza, capital of the State of Ceará.
BEACHES AND BAYS
On one side is Brazil. This is the "inside sea", with 10 beaches, two enjoyable bays; a special one, which cannot be entered: the Baía dos Golfinhos. On the other, Africa. It is the "mar-de-fora", with 4 beaches, a cove, two contemplation areas and a set of rock pools.

In order to better guide tourists and encourage the quality of the accommodation structure in the Archipelago, the Administration of Fernando de Noronha, in partnership with Empetur, CPRH, Fire Department, District Council and Sanitary Surveillance, started the classification of Home Hostels. For this, categories were created, whose symbol is the dolphin instead of the stars of traditional hotels.
