Know all the mandatory rules of the entry protocol on the island.

Now Noronha is for everyone!

The island of Fernando de Noronha reopens for tourism from October 10th. But, as we still live a pandemic, the entry of tourists must be done in a safe and responsible way. Therefore, it is important that our visitors are aware of the rules and protocols for entering the archipelago.

The payment of TPA - Environmental Preservation Fee, is now ONLY ONLINE.

All visitors must access sounoronha.com and follow the complete TPA payment flow, after completing this step, it is necessary for the visitor to send the mandatory documents in the NORONHA ENTRY PROTOCOL. Our team will receive the documentation for analysis, and will return to the email used to send, approve or disapprove your entry.

What are the mandatory rules?

- Perform the RT-PCR test (nose and throat) 48 hours before the trip date for COVID-19 and present it on boarding, at the airport of origin. A printed copy must be delivered when disembarking in Noronha.

- Upon leaving the island, a new test will be carried out by sampling, 30% of the passengers of each flight or vessel will be randomly selected to perform a new RT-PCR (funded by the Government of Pernambuco) enabling the Health Surveillance to control possible community contamination . The test does not prevent you from leaving the island. The same goes for residents of the archipelago.

- Accept a term of commitment before boarding, committing to comply with the protocol and guidelines of the Surveillance in Noronha. The term is available in the TPA online payment process.

Who will pay for the RT-PCR exams required in the protocol?

- The exam for entry into Noronha upon boarding is at the expense of each visitor. The exit exam will be carried out at the airport by the Health Surveillance of Noronha and funded by the Government of Pernambuco.

What if the result doesn't come out in time for shipment?

- The tourist needs to prove, on departure, that the exam was taken. If you don't have the result yet, your displacement to the archipelago will not be possible.
